“When you stop looking, you’ll see it right in front of you. Sounds simple but it’s quite tricky. This is how it works with creativity for me, I can’t search for it, I need to see it. Creativity has, contrary to what people may believe, not much to do with a good idea, more to do with authenticity.

If I try to create something from what I know or think, I don’t get very far. Because I’ll end up doing what I already know, it’s too predictable. I prefer to go to work not knowing exactly what is going to happen, I try to give room for the unexpected and allow things to happen that I could not have imagined when I started..

The art lies in seeing.
